Back in August, the BioLab had the pleasure of presenting two separate projects at FAB16 — the international conference of Fab Labs. The presentations are now available online in case you missed or want to revisit them.

Thomas Heinrich gave a workshop on his ongoing research-creation project De Souche, which explores methods for creating biomaterials from invasive plants and embraces site-specific materiality.
Théo Chauvirey and Ann-Louise Davidson presented their kombucha–bacterial cellulose machine, which brings together two fermentation processes that were previously incompatible — and walks you through how to make your own!
