Alexandra Bachmayer and Marc Beaulieu co-facilitate a two-part workshop on the use of bacteria as a creative—living—medium. The workshop will focus on two different portraiture techniques as well as how to culture bacteria to be used as a dye. Through this workshop, participants will learn the basics of sterile technique and other introductory lab skills such as how to prepare petri dishes and liquid media.
