we is a body. a collective of collectives. microbial affection, a felt presence, a ghost. embodying god, existing in layers of biology as a multispecies ecosystem – of which we are a part of. through digestion we are entangled, becoming landscapes of and for each other. permeable stretch of flesh. we are soil as much as we are flesh. seeds and weeds adding to the weight – decomposing, to be changed in irreversible ways. let me fold into hospitality. caring for the living, is caring for the dead.
